Happy Tails 01.12.26

KKBN has teamed up with the Humane Society of Tuolumne County to bring you Happy Tails. We are all animal lovers here at The Cabin and we want to see more loving pets find forever homes.

Each week we will feature a pet that needs a home and we hope you will find it in your heart to give them one. The morning host will announce pets on Tuesday Morning and you can check here to see photos and info.

: Mellie: 1 year old, Female, Labrador Retriever mix, 45 pounds Mellie is a sweet, gentle girl who can be a little shy in new situations, but once she feels safe her playful, goofy personality shines through. Mellie loves playing with other dogs and recently met children who she did great with, making her a good candidate for those looking for a family dog. With a little patience and a lot of love, Mellie will be your new best friend!

: Buster: 2 year old, Male, Jack Russell mix, 25 pounds Buster is a lively, spirited boy who enjoys his time with people once he knows you (he needs some time to feel comfortable). Buster enjoys his walks and play time in the yard, and would like a home where he can go on regular walks in the neighborhood or have a nice yard to oversee. He has met a few other dogs here, and can get along with some if they’re the right personality, but he seems to prefer people over dogs given the choice. Buster has a goofy, lovable nature with people in his circle and would love to add you to it!

: Maisie: 5 year old, Female, Shorthair Tabby Maisie loves connecting with people and taking the world in from her many perches in the shelter- so a cat tree would be a favorite of hers if you adopt her! She has the classic brown tabby coat and is a lover. She also does well with the other cats in our lobby and prefers to mind her own rather than start any mischief. Maisie would do wonderful in a home looking for a kitty that still enjoys toys and exploring, but also knows the joys of a simple day full of kicking back and relaxing. Come by the shelter to meet this cutie!

: Princess: 10 years young, Female, Manx mix Princess is a senior kitty in search of a soft place to land for her golden years. She prefers a slow pace, quiet times, and warm bed to call home. Princess loves to come out for pets and one-on-one time with people, and really enjoys a sleepy afternoon over any hustle and bustle. Princess would match great with someone looking for a laid back friend!

: Mr. Muffins: 2 year old, Male, Pekingese mix, 20 pounds Mr. Muffins is looking for a soft place to land and a person willing to give him TLC while he learns there are nice people in the world. He’s a sweet, timid, and sensitive boy who would love to find a special person to call his own. If you like to take life at a slower pace, he’d be a wonderful match!

: Miles: 13 years young, Male, Domestic Longhair Miles is a sugar-sweet senior looking for a quiet and loving home to spend his golden years. He survived a fire while never losing his kind nature, so if you can look past his scars and see the beauty within, please come meet Miles. He loves pets and is very easy going. He’d love to have a home in time for the holidays!
