Happy Tails

KKBN has teamed up with the Humane Society of Tuolumne County to bring you Happy Tails. We are all animal lovers here at The Cabin and we want to see more loving pets find forever homes.

Each week we will feature a pet that needs a home and we hope you will find it in your heart to give them one. The morning host will announce pets on Tuesday Morning and you can check here to see photos and info.

To Adopt your next family member call (209) 984-5489 or our open hours are Tuesdays-Saturdays from 9:30am-3:00 pm at 10040 Victoria Way, Jamestown, CA 95327.

: Bentley: 3 year old, Male, Shorthair Tabby Bentley is as sugar-sweet as they come. If you’ve been in our lobby in recent weeks, you’re bound to have met him because he insists on sharing loves and pets with everyone he sees! Bentley is the definition of lap cat and his favorite thing to do is sit with you for endless pets. Bentley does very well with the other cats at the shelter and has done great with the children he’s met too. We think he would fit into almost any home as long as they showered him with love. 🙂 Come by the shelter this week to meet this sweet fella!

: Frankie: 4 year old, Male, French Bulldog, 25 pounds Want a life of the party? Look no further than Frankie! This silly dog lives up to his Frenchie roots- he’s outgoing, goofy, and full of spunk. Frankie knows no stranger and will say hello to just about anyone. He loves to stay active and go for walks, play ball, and have a good time. If you’re interested in adding a class clown in your life, come on down to the shelter and meet this cutie!

: Meowulf: 1 year old, Male, Domestic Longhair/Ragdoll, 12 pounds Meowulf is an elegant and playful kitty that has the softest fur around! He loves to receive pets and observe the world around him before jumping in to playtime, but once he does, he has quite the spunk! He absolutely loves his panther stuffy (seen in his photos) and comfy cozy beds to nap in. Meowulf’s ideal home will be on the quieter side where he can play, nap, and hang out with his people without a lot of hustle and bustle to scare him. He is very interested in the other kitties, but has a rough-and-tumble play style, so if you have another kitty at home, make sure they can put up with his rowdiness. Meowulf is such a gem, please stop by the shelter to meet this sweet boy!

: Chico: 1 year old, Male, Chihuahua mix, 12 pounds Chico is your classic Chihuahua mix- full of love, spunk, and pep. He bonds closely with his people and enjoys being a part of the family. Chico gets along well with other dogs his size that can keep up with him (wants to play a lot!) and does well out and about at the events he’s gone to. Come by the shelter this week to meet him!

: Pepper: 5 year old, Male, Labrador Retriever mix, 70 pounds Pepper is a very sweet and gentle boy who recently lost his home when his person passed away. We’re hoping we can find him another home that loves him just as much, as it is apparent how much Pepper meant to his previous person. Pepper is a shy guy and is usually nervous when meeting new people, but give him a couple treats and encouragement, and he settles in nicely. It is not hard to gain Pepper’s trust, and once you do, he is extremely affectionate, loving, and loyal towards you. Pepper is highly food motivated and very responsive to reinforcement-based training. We’ve learned he’s very smart and already knows the basics and house-training skills. Pepper’s only ask is that he be the only dog in the home.

: Neil: 1 year old, Male, Labrador Retriever mix, 70 pounds Neil is a handsome boy looking for his next chapter. He has a timid nature in new settings, but give him some time and you’ll soon see his silly and playful side. Neil walks well on leash and enjoys with his dog pals (no kitties please!). We can foresee this boy hanging out at home during the week and tagging along for adventures on the weekend. Come by the shelter to meet Neil, take him for a walk, and get to know him. He’s an awesome pup!
