Day two of “Corona’s Cruise Across America” began in Pensacola, Florida. The picture above shows the bridge that I had crossed over the night before. The good news was that I was now nearly 600 miles into my journey back to the Mother Lode.
The bad news was that I was still in Florida. This state is deceptively large.
The last stop that I had made the night before was at Florida State University in Tallasshee. Nice campus, very large. Things were fairly quiet however. Perhaps everyone was enjoying the final few hours of Labor Day weekend at the beach in (kinda, sorta) nearby Panama City Beach, FL.
Needless to say, after about 14 total hours on the road, I slept great last night.
