Hi KKBN,
I would love to nominate my favorite men: my boyfriend Robert Friend and his little helper, our nephew Isaiah Roston as hard working man (men)!
Robert Friend is 24 years old and works for PG&E in Angels Camp. Robert graduated from lineman school in October 2010 and we left our families to take a lineman job in Augusta Maine. Robert finally got his dream job at the Angels Camp PG&E in September of 2012. He has been working very hard while on his first year probation and during our last storm he worked a 24hr+ shift. During this heat wave he has been working 7am-9pm shifts to ensure power is restored immediately if lost during this heat. We recently purchased a home together and he is constantly coming home and going straight to work on our home. I am so thankful for my lineman and everything he does for our community.
Robert has achieved a lot in his twenty four years and I’ve been so honored to call him mine for the last 5 1/2 years.
His helper is Isaiah Roston, age 2 1/2 and he loves to help his Uncle in the yard! Isaiah has been working hard on his cannon ball skills this summer and learning his numbers as well.
I would love to show them how much I truly appreciate them in my life by nominating them.
