Happy Tails

KKBN has teamed up with the Humane Society of Tuolumne County to bring you Happy Tails. We are all animal lovers here at The Cabin and we want to see more loving pets find forever homes.

Each week we will feature a pet that needs a home and we hope you will find it in your heart to give them one. The morning host will announce pets on Tuesday Morning and you can check here to see photos and info.

: Pepper: 5 year old, Male, Labrador Retriever mix, 70 pounds Pepper is a very sweet and gentle boy who recently lost his home when his person passed away. We’re hoping we can find him another home that loves him just as much, as it is apparent how much Pepper meant to his previous person. Pepper is a shy guy and is usually nervous when meeting new people, but give him a couple treats and encouragement, and he settles in nicely. It is not hard to gain Pepper’s trust, and once you do, he is extremely affectionate, loving, and loyal towards you. Pepper is highly food motivated and very responsive to reinforcement-based training. We’ve learned he’s very smart and already knows the basics and house-training skills. Pepper’s only ask is that he be the only dog in the home.

: Neil: 1 year old, Male, Labrador Retriever mix, 70 pounds Neil is a handsome boy looking for his next chapter. He has a timid nature in new settings, but give him some time and you’ll soon see his silly and playful side. Neil walks well on leash and enjoys with his dog pals (no kitties please!). We can foresee this boy hanging out at home during the week and tagging along for adventures on the weekend. Come by the shelter to meet Neil, take him for a walk, and get to know him. He’s an awesome pup!

: Rocko: 10 months old, Male, Labrador/Cattle Dog mix, 45 pounds Rocko is a happy-go-lucky pup with an irresistible charm- that adorable floppy ear that seems to have a mind of its own. Rocko is still young and learning the ropes, but he approaches life with curiosity and enthusiasm, so we think he’ll catch on to life experiences with ease. Rocko is playful, social, and loves being around people, soaking up attention and affection like a true family dog in the making. Rocko is eager to learn, eager to please, and eager to belong. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or cuddling, he’s ready to be right by your side.
