Hard Working Man 02.25.26

Travis Hoye

I am writing to nominate my husband, Travis, for your hard-working man of the week award. Travis is a definition of a “hard worker” not just in his career, but in every aspect of his life.

By trade, he is a heavy equipment mechanic at SPI — A physically demanding job that he does without complaint to provide for us. However, what makes Travis truly special is what he does in his “free” time. Instead of resting, he devotes himself to spending time with his kids and coaching the youth in our community. Whether it’s coaching football for the Jr Cats, on the wrestling mat with the Motherlode Wrestling Club, or springtime on the baseball field, he’s always there for not only his kids, but many others around the community.

He is the selfless foundation of our family, and truly the best husband and dad in the world. He loves with his whole heart and is the first person to step up when someone needs a hand. He makes our lives better every day, and I can’t think of anyone more deserving of a shout out than him.

Love: Michelle
