KKBN has teamed up with the Humane Society of Tuolumne County to bring you Happy Tails. We are all animal lovers here at The Cabin and we want to see more loving pets find forever homes.

Each week we will feature a pet that needs a home and we hope you will find it in your heart to give them one. The morning host will announce pets on Tuesday Morning and you can check here to see photos and info.

: Big Larry: 1 year old, Male, Domestic Shorthair Big Larry is full of BIG personality! We absolutely adore this lovebug. He’s young, spry, and very playful. We think he would thrive in a home with lots to keep him busy and plenty of room to explore. Big Larry spends his days roaming the lobby with our other kitties to see what mischief he can find, what toys he can hunt, and which people he can get the best chin scratches from. Big Larry would love to find his people and we hope it’s you!

: Suzanna: 5 year old, Female, Great Pyrenees mix, 70lbs Meet the sugary sweet Suzanna, who loves nothing more than to hang around the property and soak up the sun. Suzanna is fairly mellow and walks excellent on leash; we think she might know some basic commands already too. We can’t say this enough- Suzanna loves to be outdoors! She is anxious inside and our guess is she was an outdoor dog before finding herself in the shelter. Once outside, Suzanna is a happy girl and very content to lounge and watch the day go by. She watches the shelter happenings from our outdoor dog run during the day and we think she’d love to watch over your barn or porch.

: Opal: 7 months old, Male, Domestic Shorthair Opal is a curious, energetic boy who’s always ready for playtime—whether that means chasing a wand toy, tackling a crinkly ball, or showing off his speedy zoomies with his kitty companions. He does very well with other cats and would likely thrive with a friendly feline buddy by his side to help him feel confident and keep the fun going (consider his twin sister Pearl!). Opal will start off a little reserved with new people, but give him a bit of time and a calm environment, and he’ll reward you with his true personality. Once he feels comfortable, Opal’s playful and loving sides truly take center stage. If you’re hoping to welcome a loving, handsome boy who will continue to blossom as time goes on, Opal could be the one for you!

: Miles: 13 years young, Male, Domestic Longhair Miles is a sugar-sweet senior looking for a quiet and loving home to spend his golden years. He survived a fire while never losing his kind nature, so if you can look past his scars and see the beauty within, please come meet Miles. He loves pets and is very easy going.His fur has grown in a little more and he’s looking really handsome!Also- his adoption fee is now covered!

: Pearl: 6 months old, Female, Domestic Shorthair Pearl is a playful kitty who loves toys, chasing feather wands, and zooming around with her feline friends. She does wonderful with the other cats and would be thrilled to have a kitty companion to show her the ropes and share in her adventures (maybe you could adopt one of her friends with her!). Pearl can be a bit shy when meeting new people, but give her a little patience and she blossoms into a loving, loyal companion. Once she feels safe, her curious and playful personality really shines. If you’re looking for a soft, sweet girl who will grow more confident every day and fill your home with kitten fun, Pearl may be your perfect match.

: Rocko: 10 months old, Male, Labrador/Cattle Dog mix, 45 pounds Rocko is a happy-go-lucky pup with an irresistible charm- that adorable floppy ear that seems to have a mind of its own. Rocko is still young and learning the ropes, but he approaches life with curiosity and enthusiasm, so we think he’ll catch on to life experiences with ease. Rocko is playful, social, and loves being around people, soaking up attention and affection like a true family dog in the making. Rocko is eager to learn, eager to please, and eager to belong. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or cuddling, he’s ready to be right by your side.

: Buster: 2 year old, Male, Jack Russell mix, 25 pounds Buster is a lively, spirited boy who enjoys his time with people once he knows you (he needs some time to feel comfortable). Buster enjoys his walks and play time in the yard, and would like a home where he can go on regular walks in the neighborhood or have a nice yard to oversee. He has met a few other dogs here, and can get along with some if they’re the right personality, but he seems to prefer people over dogs given the choice. Buster has a goofy, lovable nature with people in his circle and would love to add you to it!
