KKBN has teamed up with the Humane Society of Tuolumne County to bring you The 12 Strays Of Christmas. We are all animal lovers here at The Cabin and we want to see more loving pets find forever homes this holiday season.
Each day we will feature a pet that needs a home and we hope you will find it in your heart to give them one. Alisha in the morning will announce a pet every morning of the 12 Days of Christmas! See below for adoptable animals, pictures and descriptions!

All of the animals still looking for homes are 50% off adoption fees though the end of the year. Dogs are $80 and cats are $40!
Day 1. Mr. Muffins: 2 year old, Male, Pekingese mix, 20 pounds
Mr. Muffins is looking for a soft place to land and a person willing to give him TLC while he learns there are nice people in the world. He’s a sweet, timid, and sensitive boy who would love to find a special person to call his own. If you like to take life at a slower pace, he’d be a wonderful match!
Day 2. Miles: 13 years young, Male, Domestic Longhair
Miles is a sugar-sweet senior looking for a quiet and loving home to spend his golden years. He survived a fire while never losing his kind nature, so if you can look past his scars and see the beauty within, please come meet Miles. He loves pets and is very easy going. He’d love to have a home in time for the holidays!

Day 3. Lyric: 6 months old, Female, Shepherd/Cattle dog mix, 35 pounds
Lyric is all about fun! This social girl wants to be close to her people and do all the fun puppy things like hiking adventures, playtime in the yard, and lots of snuggling at the end of the day. Lyric makes friends with people of all ages and would love to be the center of your world!

Day 4. Willow: 4 months old, Female, Calico
Willow is playful, curious, and full of kitten energy. She’s ready to explore all the cat trees, kitty tunnels, or other toys you have to offer. She does great with the other kittens at the shelter and would likely thrive in a variety of homes. If you’re looking for a kitten who is both social and beautiful, Willow is your girl!

Day 5. Harmony: 6 months old, Female, Shepherd/Cattle dog mix, 30 pounds
Harmony has a lovable timid nature that makes her the best shadow you can ask for. She likes to be near her people while she explores new areas and gathers her confidence. She’s been to many adoption events and met many people, but is still waiting to be picked! Harmony is hoping to be home in time for the holidays and would love a home that can give her the guidance and reassurance she craves.

Day 6. Fern: 4 months old, Female, Black/White Shorthair
Playful, curious, and full of energy, Fern is ready to bring joy and excitement into your home! She loves to learn, explore, and bond with her family. Fern is personable, affectionate, and social. She’s hoping someone will choose her in time for the holidays!

Day 7. Carol: 2 months old, Female, American Bulldog mix
Carol is outgoing and adventurous- and is all puppy! She loves to play, have fun, and be the life of the party. Be ready to start fresh with socializing, training, and keeping this girl occupied with plenty of toys and exercise. She’d love to snuggle up with you this Christmas!

Day 8. Pogo: 5 months old, Male, Black/White Shorthair
Pogo is our very special three-legged kitten looking for a home to call his own. He gets around very well as a tripod and enjoys his time playing in the kitten room with his shelter friends. Pogo is a little timid in new situations, but it doesn’t take long for him to find his way into your heart!

Day 9. Holly: 2 months old, Female, American Bulldog mix
Holly is the sweet, snuggly, and shy one of her litter. Don’t get us wrong- she loves to play and run like all the other puppies, but she tends to spend more time on the sidelines rather than bulldozing her way through new situations. Holly is ready to start her new life with a family of her very own, and would love to be home in time for the holidays!

Day 10. Chicken Little: 5 months old, Male, Black Shorthair
Chicken Little is the other three-legged kitten in our care in search of his fur-ever home! This boy is so sweet and loving- he’ll let you carry him around and love on him all you want! Chicken Little runs, plays, and climbs just like his shelter friends and is hoping you’ll give him a chance this holiday season. He truly is the sweetest kitten around!

Day 11. Bruno: 10 months old, Male, Retriever mix
Bruno is the shelter’s goofy-goober looking for a loving home to call his own. He loves attention, play time, walks- you name it! He gets along with the other dogs he’s met and has a happy-go-lucky type of personality. Bruno is still young and will need to learn the basics (obedience, house-training, etc), but he has a heart of gold as his foundation. If you’re looking for a silly pup to add to your family, Bruno could be your match!

Day 12. Apple: 2 months old, Female, Calico
Apple is the most spirited, quirky, and energetic kitten of our bunch! She really loves to play and stay active, so a home with lots of toys, cat trees, and interactive games would be a wonderful fit. Apple is a super fun kitten that is guaranteed to keep you entertained. If you’re ready to bring a whole lot of fun and a little bit of Calico chaos into your life, we’d love for you to come meet Apple!
