The Cabin’s Happy Tails 05.06.25

KKBN has teamed up with the Humane Society of Tuolumne County to bring you Happy Tails. We are all animal lovers here at The Cabin and we want to see more loving pets find forever homes.

Each week we will feature a pet that needs a home and we hope you will find it in your heart to give them one. The morning host will announce pets on Tuesday Morning and you can check here to see photos and info.

: Bella: 9 years old, Female, Cattle Dog mix, 45 pounds Meet our beautiful Bella. She’s a loving, sweet, and shy girl. She wants a home where she can be in the house with her family as she loves being with people and needs her golden years to be stable (she’s been passed around a lot in her life). Bella absolutely loves her walks and is always eager to join you (she doesn’t care where you go, just wants to walk!). From her previous home notes, she knows several commands- sit, wait, leave it, etc. and is housetrained. While Bella can mingle around other animals, she does not like when they come into her personal space, so a home without dogs or cats would be ideal. Bella definitely prefers being a homebody over a life of adventure, so if you have a nice warm spot for her to sleep at night and a backyard for sunbathing with walks in her routine, she would love to meet you!

: Paco: 7 years old, Male, Terrier mix, 15 pounds Paco is a favorite at the shelter! He sticks close to your side and is one of our easiest dogs to walk for volunteers. He loves to have one-on-one time with people and can do a few tricks for treats, too! Paco has ridden well in the car and would love to accompany you on your next visit to the coffee drive-thru for a pup cup. Paco has met a few dogs at the shelter and so far hasn’t met one he’d like to be friends with, so he likely wants to be the solo dog in the home. We think he’d make an excellent buddy for someone looking for an attentive and affectionate friend that isn’t high maintenance. Come to the shelter today and ask to meet Paco!

: Celeste: 10 months old, Female, Border Collie/Pit Bull mix, 45 pounds Sweet, sweet Celeste is a very loving dog with an affectionate nature. She is slightly timid at first, but is quick to say hello and wants to be friends. She walks well on leash and enjoys hanging out with the other dogs she’s met at the shelter. She is fairly calm for a dog her age and wants to please (she received many compliments on her manners at a recent adoption event!). She’d be a great choice for someone looking for a young dog that isn’t super rambunctious, but still likes to play and be part of the family. Come by the shelter to see her; she’d love to meet you!
