The Cabin’s Happy Tails 04.29.25

KKBN has teamed up with the Humane Society of Tuolumne County to bring you Happy Tails. We are all animal lovers here at The Cabin and we want to see more loving pets find forever homes.

Each week we will feature a pet that needs a home and we hope you will find it in your heart to give them one. The morning host will announce pets on Tuesday Morning and you can check here to see photos and info.

: Paco: 7 years old, Male, Terrier mix, 15 pounds Paco is a favorite at the shelter! He sticks close to your side and is one of our easiest dogs to walk for volunteers. He loves to have one-on-one time with people and can do a few tricks for treats, too! Paco has ridden well in the car and would love to accompany you on your next visit to the coffee drive-thru for a pup cup. Paco has met a few dogs at the shelter and so far hasn’t met one he’d like to be friends with, so he likely wants to be the solo dog in the home. We think he’d make an excellent buddy for someone looking for an attentive and affectionate friend that isn’t high maintenance. Come to the shelter today and ask to meet Paco!

: Dean: 7 months old, Male, Longhair Tabby Dean is a gorgeous boy who may look “large and in charge” but prefers to take life at a slower pace and play on the quieter side of the lobby. Despite being a wallflower, he enjoys pets and will quickly be your friend with sweet talk and loves. So far he is doing well with the other cats and mostly sticks to himself. Come by the shelter today and spend time with this beauty!

: Celeste: 10 months old, Female, Border Collie/Pit Bull mix, 45 pounds Sweet, sweet Celeste is a very loving dog with an affectionate nature. She is slightly timid at first, but is quick to say hello and wants to be friends. She walks well on leash and enjoys hanging out with the other dogs she’s met at the shelter. She is fairly calm for a dog her age and wants to please (she received many compliments on her manners at a recent adoption event!). She’d be a great choice for someone looking for a young dog that isn’t super rambunctious, but still likes to play and be part of the family. Come by the shelter to see her; she’d love to meet you!
