An Unsung Hero is someone who donates their time and/or talents to a cause without the expectation of recognition or reward. The Adventure Café and Grill’s Unsung Hero Award is our chance to shine a light on those who make meaningful contributions to causes in the Mother Lode. Lee Ann Hatton
Lee Ann is the Social Services Manager, with special emphasis on the foster youth, providing them with job training, housing, integration into the adult world, completing education to move up, and interpersonal skills. Lee Ann is always behind the scenes, cheering them on as they discover themselves.
She was also one of the founders of the “Women’s Crisis Center/shelter.
Lee Ann truly exemplifies an Unsung Hero.
