November is National Diabetes Awareness Month

I don’t think I’m breaking any type of HIPAA laws here, but I’m a type 2 diabetic. I was diagnosed in 2002. I do a pretty good job of controlling it with medication, however, I could do a better job. Not enough exercise and too many brownies I’m sure put me here. Sometimes I make jokes about being a big guy, but I know diabetes is not a joking matter. 1 out of every 3 children born today will face a future with diabetes if current trends continue. It may be too late for me, but not for our kids. Take the time to learn more here.
