ZBB, after hearing the surprising news of Walter Becker’s passing at the age of 67 over the Labor Day holiday weekend, did not waste any time working up this nearly spontaneous tribute to the Steely Dan co-founder, covering the band’s earliest hit, “Reelin’ In The Years.” RIP Walter.
Two days after the passing of the late great Glen Campbell, Chris Stapleton delivered a truly heart-full tribute, performing Campbell’s signature tune “Rhinestone Cowboy” at his Hershey PA date.
Here’s a funny bone fix — Seth Meyers, host of Late Night With Seth Meyers and a Brad Paisley pal, invited Brad to perform a tune from his recent Love and War release and plug his new Netflix comedy special available later this month. Of course, Brad took the opportunity to do a little ribbing by sharing what he calls here a “Director’s Cut” of a song he performed for the first-dance at Seth’s own wedding.
Must see concert video — Frankie, after opening for Keith recently, came back to join him for an awesome rendition of the Georgia Satellite’s classic “Keep Your Hands To Yourself,” trading licks — and guitars!
