Great songs don’t all always wind up on albums, especially when a singer-songwriter is as talented as “The Traveler” Chris Stapleton. Chris has penned plenty of monster hits for others, including Luke Bryan (“Drink A Beer”), Kenny Chesney (“Never Wanted Nothin’ More”) and Josh Turner (“Your Man”). Now consider “The Right Ones,” a tune Chris and a collaborating buddy wrote on-the-spot awhile back. This performance video – shot in 2013, comes quite a bit before his super nova debut as a performer in his own right on the country music scene – includes him sharing how the song came about just before he plays it – amazing!.

Grammy winner Chris Stapleton, nominated for six CMA Awards, including entertainer of the Year with the honors being televised in early November, agrees Bacon Chris Stapleton looks delicious! He posed with a meaty sculpture of himself this past weekend where he headlined the LouFest in St. Louis. The creation was the work of bacon artist Nancy Baker, who worked on it for about two weeks ahead of the fest. A contest was held to determine how many strips it took and the winner earned a year’s worth of bacon. No word if guards were needed to keep folks from taking a bite or doing a scratch and sniff.
