Gettin Lean In 2013 (Kick Off)




Here I go again trying to be healthier and shed pounds.  I’ve yo-yo’d with my weight most my life and hopefully this time it will stick, but not to my behind.  Today I kick off my ” Gettin Lean In 2013 and I encourage everyone who needs to lose 10-100 pounds to join me on this adventure.   Follow me on the show or on Facebook.    Friday morning we’ll have a LIVE weigh in to kick off this endeavor and every Friday there after til I reach my goal of 75 pounds.  Please send me tips and we’ll post here on the KKBN website to help others by showing what you’re doing is working for you.  Bridgette came up with the name Chubby Buddies and I’ll need all the chubby buddies I can muster to make this happen.  Let’s do this one last time the right way and be healthier and live longer.  Let’s Get Lean In 2013

  1. Go, Joe! My goal is to lose 15-20 pounds. We can do this! I am having a really, really hard time getting into an exercise routine. Any tips, anyone? Too cold for me outside.

  2. Oh, one tip I learned from Weight Watchers: When eating out, ask to have a to-go box served at the same time as your meal. Before you begin eating, take 1/3 to 1/2 of your meal and put it into the box, close the box, set it aside and eat your meal as usual. This help me a lot, because I tend to eat until everything on my plate is gone.

  3. Congrats on your decision to get lean in 2013.. I too have made this promise to myself.. Like yourself I have struggled with my weight, yo-yoing myself thru life.. I weighed in on Wed. and I’m not as brave as you to post my weight, however, I will gladly volunteer to be one of your chubby buddies, and trek down this weightloss journey keeping you updated on my progress and inspired with any tips and successes I may find along the way..
