I want to nominate my dad as the hard working man of the week. Many in the community know him from his current job at Lowe’s and even more know him from his 20+ years at Perko’s Cafe. He’s the kind of guy who, even after working all week, will still go out and help us cut firewood to ensure we have enough to stay warm during winter. He never shies away from a conversation with a stranger and is always the first to help when someone needs it. He’s been an inspiration to not only me, but my family as a whole. He’s the best dad ever and my little family and I are forever grateful we got lucky enough to have a guy like him in our lives!
