Jonathan (Jon) Guyer
I want to nominate my husband Jon, he works five days a week at Zac’s Auto Shack in Sugar Pine, when he gets off work he come home and help our children with their homework, takes the kids out for walks and plays with them.
When his Co-Workers get sick or need someone to cover their shift he always says yes, he has even been asked to help a Co-Worker after work or on his days off & he always says yes.
Because of a medical condition he has to drive me around and I know that there are times where on his days off he just wants to rest or do work at our home, but he takes me where I need or want to go without complaining.
Jon also goes above and beyond when I’m working at Sonora Vets Helping Vets, even though I am the Veteran he always helps when asked and he helps me with events and fundraising events we have put on. There are quite a few times where Jon will see something that needs to be done and he will do it before anyone says anything.
Jonathan’s life had not been an easy one & he has overcome so many obstacles that have come his way. He has always worked so hard for our family to make sure we have what we need and want before he thinks about himself.
I know everyone thinks their husband deserves this award and for so many men out there we all say thank you, but Jon really does go above and beyond for everyone he knows. Even if it’s helping a friend at midnight who lives somewhere else, and they just need a friend.
Jon is the most amazing husband, father and friend and in our minds he is always the hardest working man every day.
