Roy is a 2 yr. old Mastiff mix my boyfriend & I adopted a year & a half ago from the Humane Society. He is the most loving & affectionate companion that anyone could ever ask for. He may be 100 pounds, but he thinks he’s a lap dog! He has the biggest heart of any dog I have ever seen. Gaia (pronounced guy-uh) is a 5 & 1/2 yr. old wolf & Siberian Husky mix. She has been my ‘only child’ since she was 8 weeks old. She sometimes acts like a teenager and vocalizes her feelings constantly by howling and talking to us. She wasn’t sure what to think of Roy when he came into our family, and she may act like he is an annoying little brother, but they have been caught cuddling together often. They live for their daily bicycle rides with Jason, which is where this picture was taken last August. I had just started dental hygiene school at Fresno City College & was missing my boyfriend & our furry children, so he sent me this picture. They are the center of our lives and give us a reason to smile every day.
