KKBN Goodie Award(03/27/13)

One Good Deed

Congratulations to this week’s KKBN Goodie Award Winner: ASHLEY BALDWIN

Ashley has one of the kindest hearts that I’ve every known. Shes patient and understanding in any situation that may arise. She puts others before herself. She is a single mom to her 3 yr old son cole and works 2 jobs. She’s one of my best friends and is always there to help me with my kids and anything I need. She’s like a sister to me and like an aunt to my kids. Without her support and friendship I wouldn’t have gotten through this last year of struggles I’ve faced. I believe Ashley should win the goodie award because she has the most kindest true heart that touches everyone around her.

KKBN Goodie Award Winner(03/20/13)

One Good Deed

Dear KKBN,
Janice Kennedy is a surrogate grandmother to all of the students at Twain Harte
Elementary school.  Each day she stops by to correct papers, photocopy workbook
pages, help students in need of additional support and best of all she spoils
the students with cookies and ice cream on a regular basis.  She is known on
campus by all as, Mamoo! If there is any job to be done Janice will see that it
gets accomplished.  She is a valuable asset to Twain Harte Middle School!

KKBN Goodie Of The Week(03/13/13)

One Good Deed

Today’s KKBN Goodie Winner is : DEBBIE ROBINSON

I would like to nominate my wonderful Mother-In-Law, Debbie Robinson, for the goodie award winner.
She is the most giving woman I know, willing to help my husband and I in any way possible, and
I believe she would give me her left arm if I needed it. She also helps to take care of everyone
around her, there is an elderly couple that live across the street that she does grocery shopping for and
picks up their prescriptions. Debbie volunteers with the Women’s Auxiliary of the American Legion Hall
post 108 in Jackson. She is also on the board for the Volcano Theater Company, she is a part of the Native

Daughters and is involved in her community in every possible way. Debbie is an inspiration to all of those

around her with an abundance of energy and incredible smile. She will open her doors and her heart for

anyone in need, and that is why I believe he to be so deserving.

Thank you for your consideration,

Kim Robinson

KKBN Goodie Award

One Good Deed

Congratulations to this week’s KKBN Goodie Award Winner: Dyan Foust

Dyan Foust and I drove home from a basketball game the other night with our 3
boys in the car. We stopped and got food for our boys on the way home. My son
started to choke in the back seat. I pulled over in a complete panic
With the
car still rolling she jumps out of the car and grabbed my son and began doing
the hymlic manuver. He could not breath at all and began to panic. With two
strong thrusts Dyan dislogged what ever was choking him and he could again
breathe. She calmly said thank god I took that cpr training when I had my
daycare. I want everyone to know what a wonderful person she is. She is a single
mother trying to raise 3 kids with little to no child support which is
especially tuff during the holidays. I thank god there are wonderful people like
this in the world!
