He built our house and turned it into a cozy home, he maintains our property daily always doing repairs and improvements while showing up to work every day and still manages to spend quality time with our two young boys and 3 active dogs. If that wasn’t enough, he is going to school full time online and in person. He is our support, strength and foundation of our family.

Law enforcement isn’t just a job. Kyle works night shifts as well as spends most of his days off at trainings to better his future and meet his career goals. Often times dealing with physical and mental endurance, and the willingness to put himself in harm’s way to protect others as well as his own family. Working in law enforcement results in high-stress situations, trauma, split-second decisions, and the emotional weight of what they see, all while staying professional and composed. Kyle balances shift work that disrupts sleep and family time, yet he still shows up for his family every day! Kyle is a brand-new dad to our 10 week old son and I know our son will grow up to be proud of his hard working daddy! We love you and all you do for us!

Emmit Hatler
Emmit has been working hard all his life, for his dad, for friends, for Gus’s Steakhouse in the past, and for SMCI as a welder. He graduated from Columbia College with his welding certificates before he turned 18, and then again before he turned 19 with an associates in automotive sciences. He is the hardest working, most encouraging, joyful, loving, and genuine person I know. He cares so deeply for everyone around him and pours into them with everything he has. He’s only 20, and the most impressive person I’ve ever seen. He wakes up between 4:00 and 5:30am depending on the day, and works 8-12 hours a day with SMCI (and sometimes longer). Right now, he is also working a second welding job that keeps him until about 8-11pm. He is so dedicated to providing for us, building us a strong future, and pursuing his own welding business. Every one of his acts is a labor of love and he gives all the credit to God. He comes home, after an extremely long and difficult day, with a warm heart and a smile, willing to lend me a hand with whatever I need. Danny went from living in a tent and making not so great decisions, to becoming a sober and volunteering member of his local community. My husband is a plumber for J Hart Plumbing in Sonora. He leaves home at 5 AM and often doesn’t return until dinner time. He takes pride in doing quality work—he’s fast, efficient, and always strives to do the best job possible. He’s a quick learner and never turns down an opportunity to take on more. Whether it means going early, staying late or working overtime, he shows up with a positive attitude and a willingness to help anyone who needs him.
What makes him even more remarkable is that his hard work doesn’t end when he walks through our front door. He comes home, showers, sits down for dinner with our family, does the dishes, and then spends the rest of the evening playing with our children. He brings so much joy to our home, especially to our 3-year-old, who absolutely adores him. He’s the best daddy and always ready to jump into a world of imagination and play.
He is a hardworking man in every sense—devoted to his trade and even more devoted to his family. We are so grateful for him, and I would love for others to hear about the amazing husband, father, and provider he is.
