Pepper: 5 year old, Male, Labrador Retriever mix, 70 pounds Pepper is a very sweet and gentle boy who recently lost his home when his person passed away. We’re hoping we can find him another home that loves him just as much, as it is apparent how much Pepper meant to his previous person. Pepper is a shy guy and is usually nervous when meeting new people, but give him a couple treats and encouragement, and he settles in nicely. It is not hard to gain Pepper’s trust, and once you do, he is extremely affectionate, loving, and loyal towards you. Pepper is highly food motivated and very responsive to reinforcement-based training. We’ve learned he’s very smart and already knows the basics and house-training skills. Pepper’s only ask is that he be the only dog in the home.
