Happy Tails

KKBN has teamed up with the Humane Society of Tuolumne County to bring you Happy Tails. We are all animal lovers here at The Cabin and we want to see more loving pets find forever homes.

Each week we will feature a pet that needs a home and we hope you will find it in your heart to give them one. The morning host will announce pets on Tuesday Morning and you can check here to see photos and info.

: Sammy: 8 years old, Female, Domestic Shorthair Sammy is what we call low-maintenance; she has a quiet meow, loves pets but isn’t overly needy, and enjoys a good meal. Naps, a quiet place to call home, and a comfy bed is all she wants. Sammy has lived with another cat, so she might do okay with a mellow friend. She leans into pets and enjoys easy-going days where she can watch the daily happenings come and go. Sammy is a sweetheart who deserves a good home. We hope you come by to meet her!t

: Rocko: 10 months old, Male, Labrador/Cattle Dog mix, 45 pounds Rocko is a happy-go-lucky pup with an irresistible charm- that adorable floppy ear that seems to have a mind of its own. Rocko is still young and learning the ropes, but he approaches life with curiosity and enthusiasm, so we think he’ll catch on to life experiences with ease. Rocko is playful, social, and loves being around people, soaking up attention and affection like a true family dog in the making. Rocko is eager to learn, eager to please, and eager to belong. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or cuddling, he’s ready to be right by your side.

: Miles: 13 years young, Male, Domestic Longhair Miles is a sugar-sweet senior looking for a quiet and loving home to spend his golden years. He survived a fire while never losing his kind nature, so if you can look past his scars and see the beauty within, please come meet Miles. He loves pets and is very easy going.His fur has grown in a little more and he’s looking really handsome!Also- his adoption fee is now covered!

: Pepito: 5 years old, Male, Dachshund mix, 16 pounds Pepito was found abandoned, blind with cataracts, infested with parasites, and losing hope. Luckily a good hearted person saw him and found him help. Now he’s learning love again with regular care and TLC from staff and volunteers. Pepito is blind, so he relies on predictable routine and home layouts to navigate. He’s caught on quickly to the ins and outs at the shelter and is growing more confident by the day. He’s at a point where he will walk outside and use his nose to explore his surroundings. Pepito has been overlooked due to being blind, he’s a really great dog that deserves a chance!
