KKBN Pet of The Week(06.20.17)

This is my best friend Howard. He is 9 months old and is spunky as ever. Everyday he loves to walk around and howl for no reason. Talking is one of his specialties. He loves to dig holes, play fetch, and chase birds. He has many loves, but one of his favorite things in the world it’s snuggling with his daddy.

This is my 8 month old Yorkie (Buster). Buster loves to play ball and will even use his nose to push the ball around the yard like a soccer player.

KKBN Pet of The Week(06.06.17)

Hi there,

Let me introduce to you, Spike, on the left, and Oreo, on the right. These two guinea pigs are well loved classroom pets at Sonora Elementary. Spike lives in Mrs. Bloom’s and Mrs. Meyer’s classroom and delights first graders with his antics. Oreo lives in Mrs. Chaffee’s second grade classroom and is always vocal about being paid attention to. We feel that these two are shining examples of pets that deserve to be recognized as Pet(s) of the Week.  They will soon be going on their well-deserved summer break.

Thank you for your consideration,

Leslie Bloom

This is LITTLE BUNNY FOO-FOO
She is a mini Rex- We have had her for 4 months and she has been a huge blessing. She LOVES children and has such a calm spirit. She has taught my 4 and 6 year old daughters to be gentle and patient- and has taught them what it means to be responsible and care for an animal. My kid’s help feed her and clean her cage and they consistently check her water bottle to make sure it’s full of fresh water. Little Bunny FOO-FOO is also a friend to many other children in the community who come and stay with our family for child care. She is an amazing contribution to our families emotional health. She loves curling up and resting with the family when she’s not hopping and running around the house getting her exercise.
