Scott Myhre

Hello
This is my husband Scott. He is a Battalion Chief in Salinas. The picture of him in action was the big Dick Bruen Store fire. He, with the help of many awesome firefighters, saved the downtown from burning up! He commutes 3 hrs two times a week to support his family. He is a great husband, dad and PAPA. We made three awesome kids together and have 1.5 grand babies and he is amazing to all of us! If he isn’t putting out “fires” in Salinas he is home working on something or at one of the kids houses helping them. We all love and appreciate him sooo much!

John Fenger
As a husband and a father, John gives it his all 100%!!  He has his own business, Fenger Painting, manages 3 employees, makes time to exercise his horses and dogs, makes time for his own exercise, cooks, fixes and repairs things that need to be fixed, makes time for our daughters and their friends, and also still makes time for me!:)  We have been together for over 30 years, married for 25 and have had many changes and through all of it, John has NEVER let me or our daughters down.  He has always picked up the pieces and moved us forward to another journey.  Life is never boring with this man. 🙂  HE IS MY HARD WORKING MAN!!!!

My husband, James Angelo, is a very hard working man! He served our country for 10 years in the Navy. Jim supports his family everyday. He helps with homework, fundraising activities at school, sports and all of the other extra curricular activities our two daughters are involved with! Family comes first for him. He is the most deserving person I know for this honor!

Ben Andrews
My husband (of one month on February 25th!), Ben Andrews, absolutely deserves the title “Hard Working Man.” I don’t even know where to start. Not only does he work extremely hard at his full time job at Armstrong- Clark Company, he is also an outstanding husband and father. He does so much for us!
We have been together for eight years and are raising 4 beautiful children together. When Ben and I first got together I had a one and four year old and he has been there for them as a father since day one. We also have two children together that are now five and three years old. Ben is such an involved, amazing dad. Wether it be dance lessons, sporting and school events, playing catch outside, shooting hoops with them, building skateboard ramps, showing them the coolest flip on the trampoline, watching their home fashion shows, giving guitar and snowboarding lessons, pony rides through the house, or “airplane” before bed, Ben is there, excited about it and encouraging. He is the best dad ever.
In the cold winter months Ben is up extremely early building a fire so the house is comfortable when the rest of us get up. The kids and I wake up to a warm house with coffee brewed and, often breakfast made! And my favorite coffee mug? Always washed and ready for me to use. It’s the little things and Ben pays attention to every detail. Did I mention that he makes dinner for us every night? I must add that he makes the absolute best burgers I have ever had!
Ben knows how loved and appreciated he is but I would love to give him the recognition he deserves. He doesn’t need much in this life to be happy. He is a grateful, generous, loving, optimistic, compassionate human being. He has taught me so much. Ben is incomparable.

My man, Monte would work eight days a week if he could. He loves me the same. He suffers from very painful arthritis, but you would never
know. He never complains, just does what has to be done on the ranch and other ranches in the area. When duty calls, it could be anything….his work prevents your animal road hazards around here anyway!
I just want him to know how much his hard work is appreciated. Coming home to me and a nice meal feels minuscule, but it’s the best part of the day for me. I tried to set a fence post…laughable is an understatement. There are so many angles to conquer in the ranch life and there is nothing he can’t or won’t do. It’s a beautiful life with him in mine.
