KKBN Pet Of The Week 11.23.21

Arlo

Good day,

My dog’s name is Arlo, and I would like to submit him for pet of the week.

Arlo is one year old and has the most amazing heart. He loves everyone and brings lots of laughs and joy to everyone he meets. He loves going on walks and playing football with the family. He loves eating… all the time! He likes giving hugs and kisses to everyone he meets.

He loves playing with his blanket and having playdates with other dogs.

Arlo is the most loving and goofy dog and such a cool DOOD!

Thank you for considering Arlo.

Letters To Santa! Giveaway

93.5 KKBN’s Letters to Santa

Mom and Dad, your little one can win a $25 gift certificate from the Junction Shopping Center simply by writing their Christmas list to the Jolly Old Elf!

You’ll see Santa’s official North Pole Mail vehicle in the Sonora Christmas parade on Friday November 26th. At the conclusion of the parade Santa’s elves will be collecting the letters in front of the Clarke Broadcasting studios at 348 S.Washington. We’ll take your child’s letter, and we’ll hold a random drawing of all submissions on the following Monday morning.

Ten kids ages up to 12 years will win a $25 gift certificate to spend at participating Junction merchants. We may even read your child’s letter on the air!

One entry per child. Incomplete details will disqualify the entry, but the letter may still be read on the air. First names only will be used when the letters are read on the air. Letters read on the air will not necessarily be from random winners.

Entries will be accepted by mail. Address to “Letters to Santa c/o Clarke Broadcasting 342 S. Washington St Sonora CA 95370” Be certain the letter includes your child’s name, age, address and a phone number where you can be reached. You may also drop off your child’s letter in person at our studios. Letters must reach us by Saturday November 27 at 11:59pm to be eligible for the drawing.

Junction gift certificates may not be exchanged for cash, and certain Junction merchants may not be participating.

KKBN Hard Working Man 11.17.21

Richard Aronce

Richard is the most amazing man I’ve ever met.

He has stepped up when he didn’t have to and is now taking over the reins of our family automotive and equipment repair business of 45 years in angels camp.

Richard is the best daddy to our four girls and our 6 month old son.

Between working and parenting, he still makes sure there is time for just us. Whether taking me 4x4ing and teaching me a thing or two or just getting out of the house for a bit.

Richard you are the most amazing man and I am truly lucky and grateful to be your wife.

I love you handsome!

KKBN Pet of the Week 11.16.21

This is Salami,

Sal for short…he reminded me of a cat I once knew named Meatloaf…who is buried under an orange tree in Santa Barbara, Ca after dying of old age.

Meatloaf was black as well…I didn’t want a black cat…Sal picked me. Maybe it’s Meatloaf’s sprit. Sal was at the Calaveras Humane Society. It was love at first sight

He has the run of the house, loves a warm fire, sleeps on my bed and protects my shoes!

I needed a buddy…he needed a friend…

we just finished treats…I can hear him saying…what no more? I’m sitting so pretty…🤣

KKBN Hard Working Man 11.10.21

Justin Flynn Justin has been putting forth so much work towards Sonora Action Sports Park since this became his dream back in December of 2020.

He is an ambitious man with a huge heart. I believe that Justin is not only a hard working man in his own life, raising a strong and beautiful young woman, but he is working hard for all of Tuolumne County residents and visitors. Everyday that man strives to create this masterpiece that will satisfy all ages of the community to enjoy. Justin Flynn is a hard working man and he deserves to be honored by this community.

He is one of the most selfless human beings I have ever met in my entire life. He is always there when you need him. He is always smiling and so joyful to be around. He has written his wrongs and in them he has found peace and a strong will to empower those around him.

Justin’s vision in the Sonora Action Sports Park project will bring so much needed light to this community. Justin works a full time job, raises his daughter, is an outdoor enthusiast and still finds the time to work under the wing of Sonora Non Profit to make this dream a reality.
