Lee Smail
I’m nominating my dad Lee Smail because he is the definition of a hard working man.
He raised me and my little brother JT basically by himself.
He owns his own construction business Lee Smail Construction. He works 8 or 9 hour days everyday building and fixing houses throughout Tuolumne County. He doesn’t only work for his company, he works for other contractors around the area as well.
My dad is very good at what he does, it’s hard work. He always has a good attitude, cracking jokes and laughing, he’s a great guy to be around. Everyone who knows him loves him, I’ve literally watched him give the sweatshirt off his back to a stranger at a super-cross race in Oakland.
Even after a long day of physical labor he comes home and takes care of his yard and cleans the house, he just doesn’t stop.
I’m so thankful for him and everything he’s done for me he is the best dad. I couldn’t ask for a better man to have raised me, he really does deserve this award.
