Hello!
I’d like to nominate my husband, Karl Waite, for the hard working man of the week. Karl works as firefighter (engineer) for Cal Fire, at our local Mono Village station 51 firehouse.
Karl is incredibly passionate about his job. He loves serving the community, teaching fire classes, and working with young volunteers who aspire to work in the fire service. Lately, Karl has been working extra hard, as it is not only fire season, but he’s also helping take care of his father, Fire Captain Paul Waite, who is battling terminal cancer. Karl is the kindest, most genuine person I’ve ever known, and his love for his family is fierce and unconditional. I am the luckiest woman in the world to have married Karl. I’d love to see him be the KKBN working man of the week to celebrate all his hard work.
