Goodie Award (6/30/10)

I would like to nominate my girlfriend for goodie of the week. She is a wonderful person, she takes good care of me she does everything for me like house chores, cooks, helps me with my work as needed, goes out of her way to make sure everything is all done and we can enjoy each other.

Pet Of The Week (6/29/10)

Marshall Tucker & Dreyfus

Hi Big Joe and Bridgette! Here’s a really cute picture of Marshall Tucker (L) and Dreyfus (R), our Golden Retrievers. It was taken on Tucker’s first day with us. He came to us from Nor Cal Golden Retriever Rescue, and as soon as he hit the back yard and saw that kiddie pool, he was in it and laying down! The expression on his face is pure doggy joy! Tucker is about 3 years old, and Dreyfus, who was also a rescue 10 years ago, is 13. He loves the pool (and tennis balls) too, God bless him! We hope you’ll pick our sweeties for Pet(s) of the Week! Happy Friday

I haven’t had a piece of cake in 6 months. After being on the Gettin Thin In 2010 plan and losing 80lbs since January 2nd, well today is the day! Today is my 45th birthday and part of my goal for losing weight this year, was to lose 70 lbs by June 25th, today. So how bout that cake? Well take a look…it’s a chocolate cake with creme cheese/fudge frosting and if you’re close by the station this morning, come on by and have a piece! Thanks to my good friend Miss Shelly for baking this yummy cake. We’ll also be giving away more of my ” Fat shirts”. So be sure to tune in at 5:30! Have a great Mother Lode Weekend!

KKBN Pet Of The Week (6/22/10)

This is my 5 year old son’s (Cody Fish) Registered Australian Shepard “Miss Du”, he calls her “Scooby Doo”. Miss Du will be 2 years old on Valentines Day. She was a birthday present for him 2 years ago.

Miss Du goes to the mountains with me and my horse,camping, and runs for miles in the sierras along side of me while I ride. She also goes snowshoeing with Cody and I as well and earns her keep watching and working the cattle on our ranch.

The photo was taken during the big snow storm here in Angels back in Nov./Dec. when all the schools were on snow schedules or closed. She is pictured watching the cattle in the snow at the ranch.
