18 weeks later...I've lost 63lbs

Can you believe we’re kicking off week 18 of Gettin’ Thin In 2010? I feel pretty good, and more and more people are making comments about how much weight I’ve lost. It’s a little weird because I don’t see a big change yet. Let’s get to this mornings live weigh results from this mornings show.

Let’s recap: January 2nd I weighed in at 321lbs. Last week brought me to a total of 53lbs lost and this morning I weighed in at 258lbs. Which means I’ve lost 10lbs this week and 63lbs total! Wow…That’s a pretty big number. Only 8lbs away from my original goal of 70lbs! Wish me luck. See ya next Friday!

Congratulations to this week’s Goodie!

I would like to nominate my mom Chere Villines for the goodie award. My mom is the mother to 4 kids & darn good at it. She bakes cookies for businesses in the community once a week & hand delivers them. She’s in the process of setting up a program to deliver food to the homeless with her church. My mom is a hard working mother, grandmother, daughter, wife, and friend. She’s always puting others before herself and for that, I think she deserves this award & much, much more. Thanks for your time & I hope you pick my mom.

The Mother lode Round Up is here! This morning on the show, we were honored to have the reigning Mother Lode Round Up Queen Ariel Diggin and one of this year’s Queen contestants Sarah GrenFell and Jamestown resident Kristin Barnhardt grace our studios! Yes, we straightened up before they arrived and Bridgette wore deodorant! Gettin Thin In 2010 (Week 17)

Time for the results of the Friday morning live weigh in with Gettin’ Thin In 2010! This kicks off week 17 of my Big Joe reduction plan and so things are looking pretty good. As you know I post pics each week , so all the folks can see I’m actually trying very hard to lose this weight and someone asked last week, ” Big Joe, when are we going to see a picture of your backside?” Well, I’m not really sure if you’re prepared for this, but here you go weirdo! One just for you!

Okay, the results. This morning I stepped on the scale and weighed in at 268. Meaning I lost 2lbs! Bring my total weight loss to 53lbs. Check in next week for another live weigh in for Gettin’ Thin In 2010! Good luck!

Coyote Sam Hits Sonora With A Bang!

It was a terrifying experience for most the townspeople of Sonora today, when the notoriously nasty, Coyote Sam and his band of misfits rode into town to stop the 53rd annual Mother Lode Round Up! The Sheriff was assaulted as well as others in the crowded streets at lunchtime. The Mother Lode Queen and Contestants and Sheriff’s Posse were there when the outlaws showed up. That’s when it got ugly. See the pics here
